3SP have had a lovely day at Brackenhurst Agricultural College in Nottinghamshire.  The day was themed around the concept “from field to fork”, whereby the children enjoyed learning how much of our food relies on farming. Through a variety of activities, the children explored the benefits of composting, sustainable methods of farming and how important it is not to waste any part farm produce, be that from an animal or plant. They loved making their own compostable plant pots, planting a seed in the pot to then be replanted back at school. The horses in the equestrian centre were a major highlight, and the children loved petting them at the end of the trip, as well as learning about the different breeds.

Here are some photos of the day for you to enjoy!
