Year 2 had a wonderful morning meeting fire fighters from the Nottinghamshire Fire Brigade to link in with their topic, The Great Fire of London. The children enjoyed a presentation in the hall first and answered – and asked – a lot of questions! We were so impressed with their knowledge! Then outside to a waiting fire engine where the children got to see all the equipment carried on board as well as see a fire hose in action as it sprayed the teacher’s cars in the car park!
