This week we have read and learnt off by heart the story of The Gingerbread Man.
In the small world play we have told the story with our friends….
“Run run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me I’m a gingerbread man.”
We also made stick puppets to help us tell the story.
We matched numerals to the correct amount of buttons
and used tweezers to place them on the gingerbread men.
We made our own gingerbread men with split pins.
What a beautiful job we did!
We practised cutting gingerbread men out of play dough before baking real gingerbread men.
They didn’t have time to run away before we gobbled them all up!
