We have loved this half term's learning theme. Our One World topic has inspired children and staff alike and it is great to hear that it has inspired our parents too! Many thanks for supporting our One World topic. Homework projects have been incredible and we have been so impressed by the vast array [...]
With nearly 100 children taking part, this year's Spring Music Concert was bound to make some noise and raise the roof! Drummers, recorder players, pianists, guitarists, violinists, a flautist and Glee Club had the audience smiling, tapping their feet and singing along. We felt incredibly proud of every one of our musicians, whether they are [...]
We had a very busy week getting ready for Mother's Day; making cards, baking and decorating cakes, writing about our Mummies and planting seeds in the lovely pots we decorated! We had a lovely time with our Mummies, Grandmas, Aunties at our Mother's Day Tea Party! (Sorry we didn't [...]
Abbey Road Glee Club totally rocked it at the Genting Arena together with thousands of other 'Young Voices'. Our 115-strong choir sang their hearts out and showed off their best moves - as did staff and parents! What an absolutely awesome experience!

The whole school came together this morning for a rather festive sing-song. The children enjoyed learning a new (old!) song "Must Be Santa", as well as one of the Abbey Road classics - The 12 Days of Christmas (as performed by the staff). Much fun was had by all! Merry Christmas everyone! [...]
The theme of Anti-Bullying Week 2017 was 'All different, all equal' and at Abbey Road, we explored this further with the help of a beautiful book called 'Only One You'. Take a look via the clip below: Each class in school took a line from the book and created something in response. [...]
It's too dark after school for bike club this half term but that hasn't stopped many of the children being out on their bikes. Despite the cold, mud and rain, bike club coaches, children, and their families have been having fun at Holme Pierrepont.
We have enjoyed the cosiest Children in Need Day today. Here are just a few photos of us looking as snuggly as Pudsey in our pyjamas and onesies! And, most importantly, we have raised £925 so far - hurrah! Well done and thank-you to everyone.
