Recap the ng and nk sounds. Can you write them down?
Write five words that end in nk and five words that end in ng.
Take a photo of your white board and email in.

Help your child think of three pictures they can draw for the beginning, middle and end of the story. They can draw these in their notebook.
The beginning could be the bears going for their walk, the middle could be Goldilocks eating the porridge, sitting on the chair or sleeping in the bed and the end could be Goldilocks running away.
Encourage your child to tell you what is happening in the picture and write down in your child’s words what they say.

Count it – Count out 6 objects and then add one more and count how many you have
Write it – Write down the answer on your whiteboard
Do it – Jump six times and then 1 more.
Repeat this with different numbers (using numbers up to 10)

Make porridge with your favourite topping
Talk to your child about what the porridge looks like before it goes in the pan and then how it changes consistency.
Talk to your child about what they could put on top of the porridge. Talk about which are healthy and which are special treats. Can they sort the food in your cupboards into healthy food and items that might be described as special treats.
