The children learnt about Grace Darling and how she became a heroine by saving the lives of 9 people at sea. They designed and made clay fish, trying different skills to achieve a 3D creation. They also learnt about Andy Warhol and looked at his different artwork. They drew a lighthouse scene, repeated it four times and coloured it in using the primary colours.  The children then practiced printing with different everyday items to create pictures. Afterwards, they recreated their lighthouse scene on a tile and using the printing technique and rollers they produced an Andy Warhol inspired piece of artwork.
