This week we are carrying on our theme of wider goals for the world. Watch this video to follow Miss Wroe as she talks about how people support charities or issues in the UK and beyond.

Each Thursday, we are also going to post one of the ‚ÄėFive Ways to Wellbeing‚Äô,¬†as supplied to us by ¬©ELSA Support. Today, our focus is¬†to take notice. Look at this slide¬†to see how you can¬†appreciate the things around you¬†and help your wellbeing.¬†

If we were in school, we would be doing gymnastics. Each week, you may enjoy looking at this document and completing a task from it. Ignore the days on the tasks, complete whichever you like!

¡ Hola!

As always, we are going to be using Language Angels for our Spanish. Login as instructed on your letter from your home-delivered pack using https://www.languageangels.com/homeschool/. If you have lost the login, please email year6@abbeyroadprimary.co.uk.

Once logged in, select ‚ÄėUnit 3: El fin de¬†semana¬†(The weekend)‚Äô from the ‚ÄėSuper Challenge‚Äô section. This is the unit we will be looking at this half term.¬†

Today we will use lesson 3. Start the lesson and use the play arrow to go through the slides. Click on the speakerphones to hear the recordings. We are recapping last week’s new learning, so as you go through the slides, see if you can remember the Spanish for each picture. Try and say the Spanish before you listen to the speakerphone.

Task 1 –¬†On slide 16, try and match up the letters (pictures) with the¬†number (sound recording) in the middle. Record your answers.¬†On Slide 17,¬†you‚Äôll¬†see that the Spanish is now written down. See if this helps you check your answers!¬†¬†

Task 2 –¬†Then, on slide 18, there are some missing letters!¬†This is your final task for today.¬†Try and copy each¬†phrase correctly by adding the missing letters.¬†You may choose to do this with one of the worksheets (either gap fill ‚Äėless challenge‚Äô or ‚Äėmore challenge). Then, check your answers using the answer sheet.¬†

If you have any questions or have work to submit, please send an email to year6@abbeyroadprimary.co.uk.

Kind regards,

The Year 6 Team
