MATHS

Today we are looking at how to add equal groups by using the strategy of repeated addition building upon your knowledge of making and recognising equal groups. Use this narrated power-point for the lesson and complete this worksheet  alongside the power-point.

Click here for the answer sheet.

If you are struggling to play the videos that feature in today’s power-point presentation, we have saved them separately here:

Clip 1 slide 9

Clip 2 slide 14

If your child needs to practise this again, try using the equipment and writing the repeated addition underneath. Some children will need to do this for every question to ensure they do not miss out any steps

Further extension tasks can be found here.

NUMBOTS

Don’t forget to practise your mental maths skills on a regular basis. Your log-in details are on the back of your reading diary.

RE

This lesson is a TEAMs assignment. Please turn in the task today when it has been completed. If you have technical issues with TEAMs, the resources are below.

In this lesson you will discover what really happened when the Prodigal Son returned home.  A large part of this lesson requires discussion with either a family member or as a class if you are in school.  Work through the powerpoint discussing the questions until you get to the task.  For the task, you will need to write on a heart or you can draw your own heart with lines on. Is there a time when you forgave/ didn’t forgive? How did it feel?
