Year 3 have been immersed into China this afternoon. We enjoyed looking at the art work of a modern Chinese artist called Xu Xi. We focussed in the finer details and had a go at sketchinga part fo the picture in detail using magnifying glasses to help. We then recieved a mysterious red box. Inside was a range of Chinese artefacts that we enjoyed exploring. Our snack today was Chinese fruit tea and a fortune cookie – no need for a campfire today! Some of the furtunes within our cookies were very interesting. We wonder if any will come true!?
