Hello to all isolating,

We hope you are all ok and are sending you speedy recoveries and best wishes.

If you are feeling up to doing some school work (and your parents are well enough too!)  please go onto the home learning page on our website and try out some of the tasks. These tasks are linked to the learning we have been doing this half term-

Maths:

As most of our learning in school needs some teacher guidance it is not always easy to send the class slides and worksheets home. However, our maths should be fairly easy to follow so we have attached the lessons and worksheets we will be doing for the next week below:

6.10.21 (2)

6.10 sheets (2)

8.10.21 (2)

8.10 sheets (2)

12.10.21

12.10 sheets

13.10 sheets

13.10.21

14.10.21

14.10 sheets

English:

In our lessons, we are making a non-fiction booklet all about what we have learnt in our science topic- body and nutrition. It would be great if you could make a booklet at home including a title page, diagrams and information to inform a younger child how to keep healthy and why it’s important.

Art:

In our art lesson tomorrow we will be sketching in the style of illustrator Quentin Blake. If you have any books at home (usually by Roald Dahl)  you could look at these illustrations carefully (alternatively you could look at his drawing online)and do your best to create your own character using his unique style.

You could even use this helpful guide-

q blake facial features

Other bits and pieces-

Edshed and reading are always a great help and can be done independently if your adult needs to work or is feeling unwell!

As always we are here to help so any questions/queries or work you would like to share for feedback please don’t hesitate to e-mail. We are still teaching those in school so our replies maybe a little bit slower but we will get back to you as soon as possible.
