Good Morning Year 3!

How are you?  A huge thank you for all the messages, work and incredible photos you have been sending us! It is fantastic to stay as connected as possible during these strange times!  We are so impressed with how you have adapted to a new way of learning and we hope to be back teaching you in the ‘normal’ way very soon!  Keeping motivated and completing tasks is always a challenge.  Try your best to do as much as you can.  As long as you try your best we can’t ask for anything else!

As always, remember, we are here for you should you need anything just send us an email at

In today’s literacy lesson we will be planning our very own version of events for Chapter 2 of the Iron Man. We will be using your notes from yesterday to magpie the structure of Ted Hughes version of Chapter 2 but we will be adding in our own personal twists. In Thursdays TEAMS meeting We are planning to discuss some of your interesting ideas before your long write to allow us to share and build upon each other’s ideas like we would in the usual classroom environment. Please watch the video below to find out more:

You should have received a TEAMS invite asking if you would like to join your classmates and teachers in a virtual meeting. Whilst you (and us!!) get to grips with the software we will be using this session as a catch-up and chance to discuss some of your amazing achievements at home! We are really looking forward to seeing lots of your smiling faces :).

Here is another dance video from Premier Sports. Mrs Facer works for Premier Sports.  These are some of his colleagues teaching you a street dance routine!

Have a lovely day – you are all doing an amazing job and we are so proud of you all!
