Book Cover Badge-

This afternoon we have planned an art activity involving your favourite book. You will need pencils and a 2p coin for this activity. Watch the video below to see how you can create your own book cover badge!

Mrs Turner shares a story-

Mrs Turners has chosen a story that is all about a koala called Kevin. A koala who likes to keep things the same. Exactly the same. But sometimes change comes along whether we like it or not… And, as Kevin discovers, if you step outside your comfort zone and try new things, you might just surprise yourself!

Sit back, relax and enjoy listening to a lovely story to finish your day!

Extra World  Book Day fun-

As today is dedicated to the wonderful world of books, we thought we would take the opportunity to share some other book-related activities and  a brilliant website to access lots of exciting books.

If you are wanting to enjoy some time with a book but are wanting to get away from the screen here is a choosing grid with lots of lovely ideas you could try-

The link below is an AMAZING resource to explore a new story. It’s a digital library that contains whole school, KS1, ks2 and ks3 texts. Just click on the book of your choice and it takes you to the author reading either the whole book or a chapter. We think it’s incredible and we know lots of you would as well. Enjoy 🙂!
