We hope that you have had a nice weekend and have been able to do some of the things you enjoy. We hope you’ve been able to get some fresh air and maybe been for a walk, bike ride or played a game in your garden. Maybe you’ve joined in with some on-line physical activity.
We hope you feel ready and refreshed for this week’s home learning. (We were certainly impressed by the work that was sent to us last week). During this week, we will let you know which pieces of work must be submitted via Teams or email. You are also welcome to send us any other work that you are proud of, and would like to share, or ask us a question if you are unsure about anything using our year group email address firstname.lastname@example.org.
Let’s all have a great week. We can’t wait to see what you send in.
Mrs Mitchell and Miss Healey 😊

Please click here to access your guided reading task. This week you have a poem that has some similarities with the themes in Wonder. It the the same poem each day with different questions or activities about it.
Today’s Literacy lesson is all about a new planet discovery. Please play this video to find out all about it and what you need to do next. You will need some paper, a pencil and colouring pencils or pens.
Today we are starting a new Maths unit about Multiplication and Division. Click here for today’s video where Miss Healey will take you through today’s lesson. You also need to click here for a link to the webpage that you need to use for your Maths lesson today. Have this ready before you begin.
Today you will be learning about how the Earth’s rotation causes Day and Night. Click here for Mrs Mitchell’s short video that introduces the task. You will also need to click on this link for the video about day and night. Have this ready.
Spelling Shed (through EdShed)
Please continue to practise the spellings/spelling rule that you focused on in Literacy last Friday (words with -cious) by playing games on the EdShed website for 10 minutes each day.
Thank you to everyone who has told us about a great book they are reading. Keep the recommendations coming in and remember to aim to read for at least 10 minutes each day.
Have a lovely day. We’re looking forward to receiving your work during the week 😊
