Guided Reading

Please click here for your guided reading task today.

Today we would like you to submit your work on Teams. Please login to Teams to view your assignment. You will find everything you need there but, if you’re having difficult accessing the content in Teams, please click here for your video lesson. You are going to write a descriptive piece of writing about when you ‘walked on the moon’. You will need your work from last week when you thought of words for what you saw and how you felt. You will also need your ‘Expanded Noun Phrases’ about the moon.

In today’s Maths time, we would like you to work on your rapid recall of ‘division facts’. The more confident you feel with reversing your times tables knowledge to be able to recall division facts, the better! This will support you as we move through some more division objectives over the next couple of weeks. Here are some websites that have some good ‘division fact’ games on and . we really enjoyed playing ‘4 in a row’ and ‘cave run’ on

This one comes with a warning! Sorry parents, it could get a bit noisy, but it is all in the name of being a budding Gustav Holst! 😱 Click here for the video lesson. You will be composing your own music about your newly discovered planet. Refresh your memory by re-reading your work about your planet from a couple of weeks ago. Before you begin composing, Please make sure that you check, with an adult, about items you can use as musical instruments. Not only this, ensure that you agree the time that you should work on your piece of music. (Maybe not when your parents are on a video call for their work!😨)

Times Tables Rockstars

Playing TTRS will help you to gain confidence and speed with your times tables knowledge. This will continue to support you now we have moved to division.
