As part of our commitment to fostering a lifelong love of reading, we’re delighted to share that Waterstones Nottingham are hosting a series of children’s literature events over the coming weeks. These events will celebrate a range of much-loved authors, illustrators, and new releases, offering children the chance to meet writers, take part in interactive storytelling sessions and explore the joy of books in a vibrant, inspiring setting.
At Abbey Road, we’re always keen to promote opportunities that help our pupils see reading as something exciting and pleasurable beyond the classroom and therefore we would like to share with you these local, children’s literature events.

We hope many of our young readers will be able to take part and be inspired by these wonderful celebrations of children’s literature.
