✨ What We’ve Been Up To ✨
Our Year 2 superstars have been busy exploring, creating and learning across the curriculum!
In Maths, we’ve been investigating different 3D objects and spotting them in real life. We’ve explored their properties and thought carefully about how shapes are used in the world around us.
We’ve also put our creativity to work by designing and choosing our very own reward buildings, sharing ideas and explaining our designs with confidence.
In Art, we’ve been sketching still life objects, practising careful observation, adding detail and experimenting with shading techniques.
In ICT, we became filmmakers! Using iPads, we created our own stop-motion animations by drawing individual pictures and carefully sequencing them to make a short video. We learned all about patience, precision and teamwork as we brought our drawings to life on screen.
