We have had a great few weeks in year 2 , jam-packed with exciting learning and special events. We have enjoyed raising money for Children in Need and celebrating reaching 100 reads with a well-earned reading reward. In history, the children loved making lanterns inspired by Florence Nightingale, helping them explore her important role as a nurse. We also put our fitness to the test in PE with lots of energetic activities.

In art, we have completed our unit on Andy Warhol and the children were thrilled to create their own brightly coloured repeated artwork in his iconic pop-art style. It has been a fantastic start to the term, and we are so proud of everything the children have achieved already!
