Our Year 6 pupils recently stepped back in time for our exciting World War II Topic Day! The children had the chance to examine genuine wartime artefacts, try on period clothing and uniforms, and even visit our recently restored local air raid shelter. It was a truly memorable experience that helped bring local history – and their learning – vividly to life. The children showed great curiosity and enthusiasm throughout the day, making it a fantastic celebration of hands-on learning and historical discovery.
