Today, our Year 6 pupils took part in an exciting urban hockey session—and what a fantastic time they had! From the moment the sticks were picked up, the children threw themselves into learning new skills, developing teamwork, and enjoying fast‑paced, energetic games.
Throughout the session, pupils practised dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive techniques, all while encouraging one another and demonstrating brilliant sporting attitudes. For many, it was their first experience of urban hockey, and they showed great enthusiasm and determination.
It was wonderful to see so many smiles, bursts of confidence, and moments of real improvement as the session went on. The coaches were incredibly impressed with the effort and positivity shown by everyone.
Well done, Year 6—we are proud of you! 🏑
We’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to build on these fantastic new skills.
