3M have had a fantastic day at Brackenhurst Agricultural College in Nottinghamshire.  The day was themed around the concept “from field to fork”, whereby the children enjoyed learning how much of our food relies on farming. Through a variety of activities, the children explored the benefits of composting, sustainable methods of farming and how important it is not to waste any part farm produce, be that from an animal or plant. After exploring the farm and fields, the children were then given the opportunity to make their own apple juice, cheese and butter. They also made compostable plant pots, planting a seed in the pot to then be replanted back at school.

The children were all brilliant and did Abbey Road proud. Well done 3M. Here are some photos of the day for you to enjoy!
