Eco – Council visit Nottingham City Transport
On Monday 20th November, members of the eco-council went on a visit with NCT. It all started in school with an assembly about the environment and some information from NCT on the ‘greener’ fuels which are now being used to power public transport. The eco-council then found out for themselves as they travelled on a gas bus into Nottingham and a tram out to Wilkinson Street Tram depot. They visited the control room and were absolutely amazed by the facts and figures. Finally, they travelled back to school on Ellie the Electric Bus armed with lots of information to share with the rest of the school.
