2ML started Monday morning of Health Week with trampolining. It looked so much fun that Mrs Marshall and Mrs Rogers joined in too.
Our annual Key Stage 2 Sports Day was a resounding success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and exemplary sportsmanship from all our young athletes. In preparation for our stay at the Robin Hood Activity Centre in July, the Y6 children, who come to bike club, have been honing their bike skills at Holme Pierrepont.
Once again we were proud of our cross country runners! A large team of 30 children from y3-6 represented Abbey Road in the High School Cross-country races at Wollaton Park. Year 5 Orienteering Despite the damp weather, Year 5 had good fun putting their orienteering skills into practice at Rushcliffe Country Park. Many thanks to all the parents (and dogs) who joined us!
Well done to all the children in Y5 and Y6 who chose to take part in our cross-country race. The determination, enthusiasm and ability of each individual impressed me - you should all be proud of yourselves!
