Big congratulations to our cross-country team for their fantastic performances at the Rushcliffe School Championships. We came home with five top ten finishers, including a first place for Joshua and a third place for Eleanor. These children will now go on to represent Rushcliffe in the County Championships in the New Year. [...]
Year 5 have been brilliant at orienteering - showing fast running, careful map reading and recording at checkpoints, and great team work. It's been a pleasure to teach such an enthusiastic and determined group of children!
Following a record number of applications, our largest ever team of Sports Leaders had their first afternoon of training and planning for the year ahead today. We think they are going to be fabulous!

In preparation for our stay at the Robin Hood Activity Centre in July, the Y6 children, who come to bike club, have been honing their bike skills at Holme Pierrepont.
Once again we were proud of our cross country runners! A large team of 30 children from y3-6 represented Abbey Road in the High School Cross-country races at Wollaton Park.
