On Monday, year 6 were evacuated to Beaumanor Hall following their WWII history unit of learning. While there, we became code breakers, explored rationing further, wrote postcards to our families and experienced an air raid down in the shelter. Although our evacuee families didn’t meet us at the end, we returned home safely after a fantastic day out!
