What an amazing half term we have had in Reception! We have trip trapped across bridges, eaten porridge, celebrated Lunar New Year by making dragons, climbed beanstalks and found out about castles, kneaded, baked and eaten bread and run after the Gingerbread man! Last Last half term we enjoyed learning about Penguins, Polar bears, Diwali and Christmas. We have conducted ice experiments - melting ice to free the penguins trapped inside as well as learning about blubber and how it keeps animals warm. The first snow of 2024-2025 was met with joy in Reception. We dressed in hats, gloves, coats and scarves and rushed outside. The children enjoyed making snow angels, snowballs and snowmen!
