What a super week! We have carried on the theme of recycling and have been discussing which different materials can be recycled and into which bins they can go. We have also been rescuing the sea animals from the plastic in the water and using the recycling to make new things.

Our Take Care Champions have also been busy out and about using the litter pickers to clean up their environment.

Look at us sharing our books with our friends! We love reading and looking through stories!

Then on Thursday we carried on our learning about another Christian event – the wedding! In the morning we had a lot of wedding prep to sort out – we made our own paper bouquets and buttonholes, decorated and wrote wedding cards and pulled out names from a hat to decide who was going to get “married”. We were all very excited!

Then it was time for the main event – the wedding service! The decorations were arranged, the rings were sorted and the music was set, all that was needed now was for the grooms and brides to walk down the aisle. It was a lovely service, the children listened very carefully and joined in with the hymns and we all had a lot of fun!

Then afterwards it was time for the Reception! There was cake, dancing and the conga! And of course we had the grooms and brides first dance. The children had an amazing time!
