Our annual Key Stage 2 Sports Day was a resounding success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and exemplary sportsmanship from all our young athletes. The event kicked off in the morning with a series of team events. From a fast-paced penalty shoot-out, to a hurdle relay and a cycling slalom, every participant gave their all, supporting each other with cheers and encouragement. It was heartwarming to witness the children come together, displaying remarkable teamwork and having lots of fun in the process.

The afternoon was dedicated to individual events, where the focus shifted to personal skill and endurance. Our budding athletes showcased their abilities in various disciplines, including throwing, jumping, middle-distance running and sprinting. Each child demonstrated incredible determination and effort, pushing themselves to achieve their best.

The grand finale of the day was the highly anticipated Year 6 team relay, an annual favourite that never fails to excite. The tension mounted as every member of each class (including the teachers!) took turns to run their leg of the race. In a thrilling finish, Class 6WT narrowly clinched first place, crossing the finish line to an eruption of loud cheers and celebrations.

Congratulations to our medal winners, a huge well done to every child who took part and massive thanks to parents and staff for making this Sports Day a fantastic celebration of sport, effort, and camaraderie.
