Another exciting week in Reception at Abbey Road. We are learning so many life skills through our People who help us topic. This week we had a visit from Mike the Paramedic.The children experienced putting each other into the recovery position, simple bandaging and using blood pressure monitors and stethoscopes!
We also practised making a 999 call and talked about only calling emergency services in a real emergency.
The children have certainly enjoyed using our role play Hospital, they have been writing prescriptions and offering care to anyone willing to be wrapped in a bandage!
