This week we have been learning all about caterpillars.
We learnt the knowledge that caterpillars are insects with six legs and other prolegs.
We learnt that they eat leaves and spin cocoons.
We know that they then change into butterflies.
We have some caterpillars in Reception.
They are getting big and we are waiting for them to spin into cocoons.
We have loved acting out, retelling and writing the story of “The Very Hungry Caterpillar.”
