This week we have based our learning around the story of “Little Red Hen”.
We learnt how bread is made. We learnt that the wheat from the fields is taken to the factory and ground up to make flour.
We learnt how yeast makes the bread rise and how you have to knead the dough and leave it in a warm place to make it work.
Our bread rolls looked and tasted delicious. Great work Rainbows and Sunshine’s.
We all helped to make it not like the animals in the story.
We managed to finish off our gingerbread men puppets.
They looked so good. Great sewing skills and beautifully decorated.
