In today’s Forest School session we immersed ourselves in the Stone Age. First, we created cave paintings using things that Stone Age people could have gathered berries, grass, mud and animal blood (beetroot juice). We then played a game involving guessing the message of the artist to show how difficult it would have been to pass on messages without being able to write.
We finished the session with a delicious Stone Age stew containing raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and honey and all cooked on our fire.
You make brilliant hunter-gatherers Year 3. Well done 🙂
