Supertato!

Welcome back after the half term break. This term our learning topic is ‘People who help us’. The children were excited to explore our learning through the text ‘Supertato’ this week. We were threading the evil peas, molding our own Supertato characters and writing messages to save the vegetables from the evil peas! The children wrote sentences about the character- I am fast, I am strong, I am kind. They wrote lists of ways to be kind to help the peas. In Maths we are  beginning to learn the pairs of numbers that together add up to 10. We have been marching through the number bond drill to help us. Ask your children to help you learn the words! We also had great fun in P.E. our new unit is Dance we have been singing and using our body parts to the count of 8, 4, 2. Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes!
