Last Last half term we enjoyed learning about Penguins, Polar bears, Diwali and Christmas. We have conducted ice experiments – melting ice to free the penguins trapped inside as well as learning about blubber and how it keeps animals warm.
We learnt that Diwali is the festival of lights and how good conquers evil. We made diva lamps from salt dough and made transient fireworks pictures.
Our Nativity was a great success and we were very proud to give £200 to the Friary along with the flapjacks that we baked. We learnt that Christmas is a time of giving and for thinking of others.
