To celebrate World Book Day we created our own books based on ‘The Day I Fell Into A Fairytale’. We have been so impressed with the marvelous authors that we have in Year 3 and have been blown away with the enthusiasm and engagement all of the children have shown this week. We even challenged the children to create a Meet The Author page sharing fascinating facts about themselves and getting their best author pose on (as you will see in the photos some decided they were rather serious writers!).
We also enjoyed a workshop with story-teller Mike who shared some tips from the top on how to engage your listener when reading a story. As you can see from the photos we loved this- particularly when adding dramatic facial expressions!
