3SP have had such a lovely afternoon listening to stories read aloud, choosing books to read for pleasure and discussing their choices with their classmates. It was so lovely to see noses in books and bright smiles from children who were reading aloud to one another.
Thank you so much to the adults who came to help us today. It was a very soggy journey home and you were all so helpful with the many roads we had to cross in the driving rain. Thank you also to the children! We were very impressed with how resilient they were during our journey back to school, for the rain was unforgiving and everyone just kept going. We hope you all soon dried off once you got home!
