Year 3 identify trees and leaves and then toast their own marshmallow!

What a fantastic afternoon! The Year 3 staff are so pleased and proud of all the children.  We had a great time getting to know trees and leaves by identifying leaf shapes and bark patterns.  We then had a go at some whittling, whilst some children helped to build and light the fire.  Every child also got the chance to toast their own marshmallow on the fire to create a ‘smore’.  We were so impressed with how the chldren listened carefully to the safety instructions and followed them beautifully!  Thank you and well done Year 3!
