Good morning Year 4,
Happy Thursday! We hope you have a really wonderful Thursday and of course the great thing about Thursday is: There is only one more day to Friday. So remember to stay connected, give more, be active, keep learning and take notice.
It’s Thursday, that means our second Teams’ meeting of the week may have already started. It was due to start at 9:00 am, so if you’re not already there, stop reading and login to your Teams’ account.
The next Teams’ assignment will be tomorrow’s Science task.
We’ve pasted a quick reminder of your daily routine here to help you keep track of what you should do next.

You’re expected to be able to spell them correctly in your writing by the end of Year 4. They are a challenge because they don’t necessarily follow any of the rules that we cover.

PE
Our PE focus for this half-term is Dance. Our main focus will be creative dance and we’ll do this when we get back to school and can all work together. For now we want you to get moving to music. We’re going to use some of the Videos that Premier Sport put together to support PE lessons in lockdown. Mr Phaser and Mr Haxby who deliver some of your PE lessons work for Premier Sport – so watch out for them.
This week you’re going to learn a Street Dance. It will give you ideas of movements you can put together to make a routine as well as show you how to build up and learn a routine – key skills for our later lessons. We’d love to see some of the routines when you come back to school so Get Dancing!

This week we will be investigating friendship groups and the similarities and differences between them.
Follow the instructions in the PDF. This lesson would be best done with an adult to support.
