The children have had a great day marking Odd Socks Day, the first day of Anti-Bullying Week!  It is a lovely way to express and celebrate that we are all different and unique.  Throughout the week, the whole school will explore Charles Mackesey’s The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse to link in with the Anti-Bullying Alliance’s message of kindness, ‘One Kind Word’.  It is such a beautiful book and we are greatly looking forward to sharing some of the children’s work with you over the course of this week.

A special thanks to the Abbey Road School and Wellbeing Council for helping with Odd Socks Day and for coming up with the idea of designing our own odd socks.

Here are some very odd looking children in their odd socks!  I hope you will agree that we have some budding designers too!
