The Abbey Road School and Wellbeing Council had a wonderful morning sorting and packing the Christmas gifts so kindly donated for The Great Notts Christmas Toy Appeal! There were so many toys they took up the whole of Mrs Worton’s car boot and front seat! There was just about room left for Mrs Worton and her handy Y6 helpers! The toys were then taken to Bilborough Church Hall where they will be sorted and sent off to people in need.
A huge well done to all of the council members for your amazing posters used to advertise the appeal, as well as the information you gave back to your classes to let them know all about it. You are all fantastic and take your roles so seriously!
And lastly, a huge thank you to parents and carers for all the incredible toys and gifts you have donated. You have helped to put a smile on someone’s face at Christmas.
