Our year 5 girls are so fortunate to have two fabulous netball coaches (both parents and PE teachers). Hopefully it won't be too much longer before they are able to play matches against others schools.
The year 5 children had a great afternoon testing out our new bike track. Whilst there were some tired legs by the end I think most of the children would have liked to carry on riding!
The year one bike riders so impressed us with their cycling today. They practised starting, stopping (using brakes not feet!), riding round corners and riding safely with lots of other riders near by and they were all amazing - fabulous listening and lots of smiles. Year 5 finished their cycling sessions with some year group races. Congratulations to everyone for taking part, racing fast and showing great sportsmanship. The races were closely contested with the overall first, second and third placed girls and boys pictured below.
