Despite the wind and rain, children from Y3-Y6 had a fabulous afternoon of cross country at Wollaton Park. Many of the children were taking part in their first cross country race and it was great to see them running with such enthusiasm and determination.
Following another impressive performance, Jacob Hughes (Y6) brought home a Bronze medal, to add to his ever increasing collection, and our U9 girls team came home with Team Silver. Well done to everyone who took part -you represented Abbey Road superbly and I was proud of each one of you.
Huge thank you to the parents who came along to help me and support the children.
