Prior to our Y6 Bike Club Residential some of the children have been practising riding different terrain and staying together as a group. Congratulations to our year 6 children who represented Abbey Road in the Rushcliffe Family of Schools Rowing Competition and won both the overall girls and the overall boys competition!
Our y5/6 table tennis tournament, which has been organised by our sports leaders, began yesterday lunchtime. Milo, Aaron, Dylan, Zach and Huey really have done a fabulous job of organising this. Our younger children, who can't yet ride a two wheeled bike unaided, have been having good fun taking part in British Cycling's 'Ready to Ride' programme. We look forward to seeing them progress over the next few weeks.
