Year 2 have had an amazing day at Beaumanor Hall today! It was so lovely to see the children enjoying themselves together outdoors, getting close to nature and bathed in glorious sunshine.
The children enjoyed learning a variety of different birdsongs on a bird walk, turning over rocks and logs to find minibeasts but perhaps most of all, they loved the pond dipping activity! We found pond snails, damselfly nymphs, sticklebacks and tadpoles to name just a few of the creatures!
